Kaela Sinclair has some pretty big news, you guys. Likewise, so does M83, who have ended their search for a new singer-keyboard player.

“I'm so proud and excited to have been asked to join M83 for this world tour,” Sinclair says. “It's a total dream.”

Sinclair came off of a huge year in 2015. The female pop musician performed the national anthem at a Rangers baseball game, signed to DefDisco, and toured the UK. She kept up the pace this year by going viral with her cover of “Artifice” by SOHN in January, and just (literally minutes ago) dropped news that she would be joining the French electronica band, M83.

“It was really difficult to choose a new singer for the band,” M83’s frontman Anthony Gonzalez tweeted earlier today, “but when I saw @kaelasinclair it was obvious she would be perfect!”

Sinclair will join her new band on their upcoming tour that starts on April 6 and runs through mid-April. Don’t worry, Dallas - there is an April 8th date on the lineup for you.

When asked if she will be moving anytime soon she says, “In the long run, maybe. For now all I have time to do is figure out how to pack my bags for almost a year of traveling the world.”

Sinclair has also promised (via her FaceBook) that there will be new solo tracks coming out very soon, as well as a HUGE tour announcement for later in the year. This woman is on fire!
