DAM AWARDS 2019: Best Drag Queen

Voting for the DAM Awards ended on Feb. 10, but noting that Denton’s drag culture is full of talented, bright, and sparkly beauties who know how to put on a show is always worthwhile. Here are your 2019 Best Drag Queen nominees! Make sure to follow them on Instagram to keep up with their upcoming performances. It’s always a show you don’t want to miss!

Eva DeLeon - Reigning Miss Gay USofA Newcomer 2018, Former Miss Gay Lonsestar USofA Newcomer 2018, and former Miss So You Think You Can Drag 2017, mother of Queens of Family Game Night at Movie Tavern, and wig extraordinaire. This queen is known for impeccable homages to musical favorites and standards, and for having a great big heart.

Trisha Delish - Owner of Trisha Delish customs and Season 1 winner of DFW’s The Queer Off, Trisha is a force to be reckoned with. You can’t miss this queen’s crazy costumes and hyper-realistic prosthetic and special effects makeup work. On top of it all, she’s a sweetheart and reverent community supporter to boot.

Kendrix Kyle - Host of Miss Kerr Hall 2017 and DFW’s QuikTrip Kesha, this colossal queen from another planet brings an unmatchable level of ferocity to the stage with each performance. Though she is fierce, she is as sweet as pie. 10/10 would recommend for any makeup tips.

Enchanté LeFay - She’s witchy! She’s crafty! She’s one spoopy bitch. Enchanté LeFay of Alternative Haüs Productions serves looks of the darker realm that are always edgy, yet elegant. A great host and an even more captivating performer!

Kabrina D Sierra - Denton’s own brunette bombshell is a local classic and drag icon. With big hair, big jewelry, and an even bigger personality to match, Kabrina D Sierra seems to embody the art and music of each routine to near perfection — even more so with her tributes to music legends like Whitney Houston.
