Harvest House, 8 p.m.
Queen for a Day, a Queen tribute band, reunites for one DFW show at Harvest House. Founded in 2003, this four-piece is dedicated to performing Queen’s music to perfection. Focusing on songs from 1973–81, QFAD will rock you without synthesizers or vocal processors. Take a step back in time and a brief escape from reality with this celebratory show. We think Freddie Mercury would be proud. Come see for yourself! $5.

House of God, 8 p.m.
Sometimes what you really need to wake yourself up after a two-day long turkey coma is a good ol' fashioned house show. Message the good folks over at House of God for the address, be sure to BYOB and settle in for some garage rock goodness to punctuate your (hopefully) long weekend.
Audacity Brew House, 7 p.m.
Good news, Dentonites: you won’t even have to spend money to catch PocketBook this Saturday.
