Weekend Update: March 4 - 6, 2016

Happy Jagoe Fest Weekend! We are one week from 35 Denton invading downtown, one more sweet week until we can all sing that one song Biz Markie has that we all know.. you know it.. We’ve outlined the daytime programming as well as the full festival schedule on the blog this week, too.

Besides 35 Denton, there are plenty of other things to keep you busy. Have you been to the Greater Denton Arts Council lately? Arts Open Call opens today at 6 pm (with the opening reception during the festival next weekend), and the Materials Hard & Soft exhibition is up until April 1, 2016. More than that, there are weekly rotating exhibits at UNT, and there’s a new exhibit at UNT on the Square as well.

While you are out and about, getting your arts on this weekend, be sure to use #thedentonite on your instagram posts so we can see what you’re up to! We’ll have a 35 Denton wristband giveaway next week, so stay tuned!
