Kung Fu Tea Opens In Rayzor Ranch

Bubble Tea lovers rejoice! Kung Fu Tea has landed in Denton. Though this is another international chain that has landed in the more commercial side of town, the culture of the business resonates with the passion for quality, care, and dedication that you find coursing through the veins of local makers, musicians, and chefs.

Why Kung Fu? Their website does an excellent job of bringing their mission as a business and creator of a well crafted product to a dedicated practice, “Kung Fu, in its purest essence, is the desire for self improvement and to expand ones capability beyond limits previously thought possible.” That’s exactly what the Kung Fu Tea founders have set out to accomplish, positioning themselves as the leader in the industry, and keeping their standards high in all aspects of ingredient quality and authenticity of flavors.

Strawberry Lemonade with Nata Jelly

Strawberry Green Tea with Tapioca Bubbles

Starting a business is never easy, but when Allen, Michael, Sean, and Ray joined forces they knew they could overcome the greatest obstacle, and even with low cash flow, working out of tiny spaces, and staking their claim in a very competitive industry, they now take pride in running an international chain that executes the same level of quality from store to store. The Denton location offers a funky yet clean vibe and inviting atmosphere. Modern furniture and open spaces, with a menu full of endless options to create your own unique Taiwan Tea concoction.

You can do the classic, made with loose leaf teas, choose a milk tea option that can also be served hot, add a bit more tropical flair with one of their punch mixes featuring a Sunshine Pineapple or Grapefruit Green Tea, and the list just keeps going. For toppings, you have the choices of Tapioca Bubbles, Nata Jelly, Red or Mung Bean, or an Herbal Jelly just to name a few. They even have off menu options like their snow cream, an ice cream bowl that can be topped with any of the options on the menu, and delicate cakes in Mango, Vanilla, Matcha, or Chocolate. The cakes are thin layers of teas and fruits, that melt under the cut of a fork and pair perfectly with any other menu item.
