Chilaquiles — Crispy tortilla strips tossed in one of Milpa’s in-house salsas — red (mild) or green (spicy) — topped with perfectly fried eggs that leave the yolk oozing over the tortilla strips, served with peppered potatoes, peppers, and onions, plus a side of black beans. The layers of heat from the spices are sure to get those brain synapses sparking again.

Hangover Soup — aka Pozole. Traditional Mexican soup made with pulled  beef, chicken, and hominy. Garnished with shredded cabbage, cilantro, avocado slices, and limes on the side. Limited availability. The cure for what ails you, this hangover soup comes with all the fixings and the heat is the perfect antidote for those hangover blues. The meat in this soup is shredded to perfection and seasoned very well. The hominy has a soft but flavorful texture.

Dulce de Leche Pancakes — A gigantic fluffy, light pancake with decadent dulce de leche sauce, sliced bananas, and light whipped cream. You can also get the original pancakes and add one of their fresh fruit options. Pairing this filling brunch fare with a mimosa is sure to be nap-inducing to get you ready for a Sunday Funday.

Vegan Breakfast Tacos — Four tacos stuffed with black beans, peppered crispy potatoes, bell peppers, onions, and soyrizo in homemade flour tortillas, topped with sliced avocado, and served with a side of Milpa’s house habanero salsa. The tacos are so filling and flavorful, you won’t even notice there wasn’t a bite of meat on the plate. Milpa’s vegan menu options never disappoint, and the vegan breakfast tacos are no exception.

Oh the margaritas! Pictured below, from left to right:

The Mean Green — A margarita with Midori melon liqueur. A tasty frozen treat.

La Dama — a mandarin margarita made with Espolon tequila, served with a Lotería card, and layered with flavor. Three other drinks are also inspired by this card game, and when you collect three cards you can turn them in and redeem them for a half-priced margarita.

The Cucumber Margarita is made with a house-infused cucumber tequila and served with a cucumber slice. Refreshing and delicious! The perfect cool compliment to any spicy dish.

The Bourbon Rita is the way to a whiskey lover's heart and is made with Exotico tequila and Jack Daniel's whiskey. All the smoothness of whiskey in a classy margarita.

Other brunch options include:

Huevos Rancheros — Three sunny-side-up eggs served over corn tortillas, topped with a zesty salsa ranchera.

Breakfast Quesadillas — Filled with cheese, egg, and your choice of bacon or chorizo.

Breakfast Nachos — Topped with beans, slow-cooked brisket, scrambled eggs, cheese, avocado slices, and jalapeños.

Milpa hosts plenty of daily and weekly specials, so make sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram
