The Windy City Grub Hub to Open on Hickory
The vacant space left by Seoul Kitchen is being filled by an entrepreneur who has been in the restaurant business since 1974. Transplanted from Chicago, Mohammed Virani, is continuing his restaurant owner career and bringing all the cuisine of the Windy City to Hickory St.
A Denton resident for 19 years, Virani was born in Pakistan and came to the United States in 1973, moving to Miami and then up North to Chicago. He opened up his first hot dog shop, Dudley's, in the Windy City. Eventually, life led him to Texas and he opened up a second location in Ft. Worth.
His latest endeavor will feature all the flavors of Chicago, including authentic Mediterranean and Indian fare. Homemade Italian Beef Hotdogs and Hamburger Patties, Beef Shish Kabob Sandwiches, Chicken Tikka Masala, as well as weekly specials, homemade soups, and several Vegan and Vegetarian options. Of course, beer and wine options as well.
Business hours are expected to be from 10:30am to 11:00pm Saturday through Sunday and the business is located at 1115 W. Hickory St. The diverse offerings of Windy City Grub Hub are sure to fill any gaps in the dining options around the Fry St. area. Slated to open the 2nd week of January, and currently hiring!
