Transmission Events Presents: Astronautalis' “First, We Take Texas” Show Dates
Astronautalis is coming back to Texas, y’all. The artist currently based out of Minneapolis just dropped his latest EP on February 19, and as kind of a surprise (google doesn’t even know yet). The SIKE! EP is a prequel to the full-length album he will be releasing later this Spring. Joining Astronautalis on the Texas dates will be Bird Peterson.
Andy Bothwell, better known on stage as Astronautalis, has been releasing weekly video updates on his Facebook page since the beginning of February, keeping us in the loop about everything from album work, tour updates, and answering questions about the currently released EP.
If that’s not enough for you hounds, Bothwell is doing a Reddit AMA on April 26, 2016, where you can, as the event suggests, ask him anything.
His Texas adventure will span over the course of a week and will hit four different cities, including a stop in Denton. Bothwell will be hitting the road for an official world tour at the beginning of May and making his way throughout the continental U.S., UK, Netherlands, and Germany.
Tickets for Astronautalis’ Texas shows will go on sale Friday (we’ll update the ticket links on this post as soon as they go up).
