Something Wonderful Fest Preview
Spring is here and Something Wonderful is making it’s way back to Fort Worth's Texas Motor Speedway April 22-23 for its third annual Electronic Dance Music (EDM) festival. Disco Donnie Presents and Nightculture are promising festival attendees a bigger and better experience, hosting a star-studded lineup and expanding the festival into a two-day event.
Popular artist DJ Snake, Porter Robinson, Flux Pavilion, Tchami and Morgan Page are just a few of the great artists headlining the festival, while also including local Dallas artists like Black Frames, Shree and Fix and Castle.
The massive festival will feature two main stages, including an interchanging third stage, with the Gareth Emery’s Electric for Life stage for day one and the Wonder Grounds tech house mecca on day two.
The festival is expanding in other ways as well, adding on online reservations for lockers to hold your belongings and promising even more extensive decorations than the previous years.
The merchandise has also expanded this year. The fest has partnered with Bike Zoo to allow festival attendees to roam the massive grounds on butterfly bikes while their favorite artist perform. The grounds will include food trucks, roaming vendors carrying drinks and snacks, alcohol for those who are 21 +, face painting booths, a general store in case you need any simple items and a free water station for those who bring water bottles.
Costumes are highly encouraged, so come dressed in your best to dance the night away. Restrictions can be tricky, so make sure to visit Something Wonderful's Guidelines to avoid having to discard any items at the door.
