Denton has no shortage of holiday gift events that support local small businesses. This Sunday, December 4th, Thin Line Film Fest is hosting a White Elephant raffle to raise funds for their next event (Remember next year's festival will be free admission save for VIP passes). Thin Line is also a non-profit that is supported by an engaged community.

Raffle tickets are $5 apiece, or you can buy 3 for $12. Winners that are called will then have the opportunity to pick a wrapped gift at random. There are no bad gifts, but there is always the opportunity to trade after the fact, right? 

"This raffle is full of local, beautiful gifts — good for a self-gift or a holiday gift for a loved one. We hope this raffle focuses on shopping local and supporting local businesses, artists, and festivals," says raffle organizer Mindy Arendt. 

The event begins at 6pm at Eastside on December 6th. If you doubt the quality of gifts, check out their bounty below with more being added to it before White Elephant Raffle day.
