Preview: North Texas Comedy Fest

It seems like every week we're saying we could really use a beer or some laughs. Beer is certainly never in short supply, but this weekend North Texas Comedy Fest will bring some premier talent to be showcased alongside local stand-up comics who have been busting their asses. Think of how much you loved 35 Denton and Oaktopia's ability to highlight local music while also booking non-regional acts. NT Comedy Fest like that except it's comedy instead of music. 

A weekend pass costs $20 while a Friday or Saturday day pass will cost $10. The kickoff event on Thursday only costs $5. A portion of the proceeds benefit Language of Laughter, a charity that whose mission is to strengthen children's literacy in Denton County. Tickets are available for purchase online or onsite at each event.Here's what's going on for the weekend:
