Stoke Denton Is Providing Free Headshot Photos for One Day

Stoke in Denton is hosting a free headshot photo event on Friday, May 18. This is an opportunity for students, business professionals, and entrepreneurs of all ages to get a nicely captured portrait to bolster their job searching ability.

Stoke Denton director Heather Gregory said, “We want stoke to be a resource for entrepreneurs and professionals in the Denton area in whatever way we can.”

This event will also include a professional expo. Representatives from the TWU Center for Women in Business, the UNT Career Center, Denton Public Library, and Royal Deca, a digital media company, will all be on-hand to dispense tips on networking, interview preparation, education sources, and much more. Information and preparedness are valuable tools in establishing a career.

Registration is limited to 150 attendees. Anyone who signs up after the cap is reached will be put on a wait list. Registration is open until 3 p.m., and sign-ups can be done through a link on the Facebook event page.

Additionally there will be complimentary snacks and beverages available. 

“Headshots are important because you never know when a potential or current employer will ask for one and it's best to have a quality, professional looking pictures of yourself to present,” said Gregory.

Stoke is located at 608 E Hickory St #128 near Denton Downtown Transit Center.
