Last week, Texas Women’s University hosted a free drag show, open to students and the public - first come, first serve - at the Margo Jones Performance Hall. Alyssa Edwards and Kylee O’Hara Fatale hosted the event, wherein a number of talented drag performers strutted their stuff, giving Denton at large a taste of their queer art. It was a memorable night that featured national, local and student performances, sponsored by Student Union, Diversity, Inclusion and Outreach, Pride, and Helping Hands. Remember - drag has no gender; so whether a king, queen, or non-gendered person of royalty, these artists are due celebration.
