Denton’s creative community convened once again at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center this past Friday for the 3rd Annual Denton Arts & Music Awards. Dozens of local musicians, artists, and activists were celebrated with an array of awards, all to the benefit of local charitable organization North Texas Dream Team. Whether simply a spectator to the flurry of colors and expressions at the masquerade-themed event, or taking the stage as a presenter or performer, the event was decidedly a who’s-who of our proud North Texas town. If you couldn’t make it out, don’t fret - we made sure to cover every angle of our favorite awards show.
